Since your message, an improvement has been implemented: a banner is now displayed on the candidate sheet when he has already applied for the offer. This makes it possible to better identify multiple applications and to avoid any confusion in the recruitment process.
Since we have not had any additional feedback since then, we are passing on this suggestion in its entirety.
Of course, if the need evolves or if other elements are clarified, do not hesitate, we remain attentive.

Hello Eleonore,
That is the expected behavior.
To explain everything to you by having the candidate who re-applies return to the first column even though he has been archived, there could be confusion about the candidate's history of advancement and evaluation.
The candidate applies for the first time, he is in the “Interview Manager” column, the manager does the interview, refuses the candidate and archives it.
After that, the candidate re-applies and ends up in “To be sorted”.
You could not know that the candidate has already passed a manager interview, that he has been refused and you could reinterview a candidate who has already been refused before.
On the other hand, we will work to improve the distinction/identification of multiple applications.
